Description of Painting and Dispatch

Each painting is painted on 140 or 300lb Saunders Waterford watercolour paper and is mounted using a cream Ingres mount. It is dispatched wrapped with several layers of 'bubble wrap' between two firm boards to prevent accidental damage during transit.

Pricing and Ordering Procedure

All paintings are available for purchase at the price displayed in Pounds Sterling and sold subject to English law. If you wish to purchase a painting, please contact English Watercolours by telephone or e.mail details of which are given below. Please read the security section. Prices quoted are in pounds sterling (GBP) but will be converted to your own currency at point of purchase.

Dispatch of Goods

All paintings, will be dispatched immediately, you will be informed if there is any delay but please allow up to 28 days for delivery. All paintings dispatched are insured. UK and overseas purchases are sent by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Every effort is made by ourselves to make sure the painting arrives at its destination as soon as possible, which is usually next day delivery in the UK.

All orders will be confirmed by e-mail, however, you may not wish to receive e-mails from us, in which case you should send an e-mail to sales@english-watercolours.com to this effect. You may also telephone us at +44 (0)1159253976 and all calls will be charged at National Rates. This number is available between 09.00-17.30 hours (British Standard Time) Monday to Friday, when all queries and/or complaints will be dealt with immediately. If this number is unavailable please ring +44(0)07973548704- which is a mobile phone and calls are charged at your local rate.

1) E-mail
If you would like to order a painting via e.mail, an invoice for the price of the mounted painting and the respective delivery charge will be sent to you via e.mail by return. On receipt of payment in pounds sterling by cheque/money order the painting will be dispatched.
2)Ordering by Post

Customers can be assured that all credit card transactions accepted on this site are secure and card details are transmitted over the Internet using a Secure Socket Layer protocol encrypted credit card payment through the designated Internet bank, Bucks.Net Services Limited (support@bucks.net) and the processing bank Nat West Streamline Merchant Services. English Watercolours does not disclose customer information to any third parties except where necessary to process the order (e.g. name & address supplied to a delivery company carrying the goods).

Cancellation Rights -Return/Refund Policy

Every effort is made by English-watercolours to ensure that the photographic image of the painting is displayed as faithfully as possible. However if the customer is not satisfied with the painting they have purchased please contact English-watercolours as soon as possible

In the unlikely event that goods are found to be faulty we operate a no-quibble returns policy. If this number is unavailable please ring +44(0)07973548704- which is a mobile phone and calls are charged at your local rate. You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days. You have the right to return your goods within 7 days after you have received them and a full refund will be made within 30 days. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, explaining the reason(s) for their dissatisfaction. Please ensure that if the painting is returned it is dispatched using the same materials and insurance as it was sent. The cost of returning the goods must be met by the customer.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
